Raghurajpur Pattachitra Village
Every home a studio. Watch Jagannath-theme scroll painting worked on treated tussar cloth, generation to generation.
About this space
Raghurajpur is a heritage crafts village where the street itself is the gallery: verandas double as studios and every façade is painted by the family that lives behind it.
Work is slow by design — cloth is sized with tamarind paste and chalk, pigments are ground from stone and shell, and a single scroll can take weeks.
